Architecture, Design & Fine Arts
Study Abroad Programme, Canterbury UK
The Faculty of Architecture, Design & Fine Arts offers a study abroad programme in Architecture and Interior Design in Canterbury.
Courses revolve around and are linked to an interdisciplinary vertical ('live project' or practicum) core studio.
Students have the benefit of small classes and tutorials in English, state-of-the-art computer assisted design labs, one-to-one supervision in service-based project development and an informal, American-style friendly atmosphere with design critics, all in the context of historic Britain, affording dynamic non-stop field trips and on-site lectures. A semester or two study abroad is a must for design students who will need a good command of English and an exposure to diverse spatial cultures to succeed in today's international market; our 'experiential education' model makes the learning process unusually rich and exciting.
Students from other institutions and programmes are welcome to apply; degree programmes must be undertaken in conjunction with our Cyprus campus or the student`s home university.
